Worship is more than music. It is our response to who God is and what He has done.
At Cottonwood, the Worship Ministry helps lead our church in singing biblical truth, celebrating God’s faithfulness, and preparing our hearts to receive His Word. Each week, musicians and vocalists serve together so the entire church can participate in worship, not simply watch.
Scripture calls God’s people to sing, remember, give thanks, and declare His greatness together. When we gather in worship, we are reminded of the gospel, encouraged by one another, and united as one body in Christ.
Our goal is to create an environment where people can turn their attention toward God and respond to Him with joy, gratitude, reverence, and faith.
The songs we sing point us toward the truth of Scripture, the character of God, and the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
Worship is not a performance for an audience. Our team serves by helping the entire church lift its voice and worship together.
We joyfully celebrate who God is, what He has done, and the real life change found in Christ.
Worship also gives us space to be still, listen, pray, and respond to God with reverence.
