Cottonwood comes together every Wednesday evening during the school year, to grow in God’s Word, build relationships, and encourage one another in the middle of the week.

With AWANA for preschoolers and kids, worship and small groups for students, and a variety of classes for adults, there is a place for every member of your family.

Wednesday night schedule

Available Mid-August through Mid-May, Wednesday nights are centered on Scripture, community, and age-appropriate opportunities for the whole family.

Wednesday night meal

  • 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
  • Fellowship Hall

Designed to both make Wednesday’s easier for families and give additional time together as a church, we kick of Wednesdays at Cottonwood with a family-friendly meal.

  • Menu: Published each week in the Sunday bulletin
  • Cost: $2 per person, with a max of $10 per family

Preschool & Kids AWANA

  • 6:45 - 8:15 p.m.
  • The House (Preschool), The Square (Kids)

AWANA provides preschoolers and children with age-appropriate Bible learning, activities, and opportunities to grow in their faith.

  • Cubbies for Preschoolers: For 3-4 year olds, this is a time for them to engage in fun activities that reinforce Biblical learning 
  • Sparks for grades K – 2: Sparks ignites children’s curiosity and builds a foundation for knowing Jesus Christ
  • T&T for grades 3 – 6: Encouraging kids to explore the meaning of God’s grace and how it affects our relationship with Him and others

Junior High & High School

  • 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.
  • Fellowship Hall

Junior high and high school students gather for their own youth service. It’s a place to worship, study God’s Word, build friendships, and talk about how faith shapes everyday life.

  • Worship: Led by the Youth Band, we start with worship together
  • Teaching: High school and junior high separate out for age-appropriate teaching
  • Small groups: The evening ends with small groups, giving time for discussion, q&a, and prayer

Adult Teaching & Classes

  • 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.
  • Stroud Hall & various meeting rooms

Adults can choose from several Wednesday evening opportunities:

  • Additional classes and studies offered throughout the year
