Home / Ministries // High School
For High School students, Cottonwood Youth focuses on building a deeper relationship with God to live out faith authentically.
High School is a defining season. Students are making decisions that shape their future, wrestling with their faith, and stepping into greater independence.
Our goal is to help students build a faith that is truly their own.
At Cottonwood Youth, we are committed to deep, Scripture-centered teaching and meaningful discipleship. We don’t aim to entertain students — we aim to equip them. We want them to understand what they believe, why they believe it, and how to live it out with confidence.
We believe youth ministry is not separate from the life of the church; it is a vital part of it. Our desire is to partner with parents in raising young men and women who love God, love others well, and live with courage and conviction.
Above all, we want students to know who they are in Christ and walk in that identity with boldness.
Students can dive into various activities, not only designed to make their year unforgettable, but to grow in their relationship with Jesus and with other believers.
Here is a taste of the activities we offer throughout the year.
Scheduled throughout the year to coincide with Spring Break, Summer Break, or Christmas Break, we encourage high schoolers to participate in age-appropriate mission trips.
Every summer we take our junior high and high schoolers to Falls Creek in Oklahoma. Staying in a dedicated high school cabin with separate sleeping spaces for boys and girls, 9th-12th graders experience a camp intended to grow their faith.
Summer is still full of activities for High School with Summer Swim Nights as a highlight. We gather, share snacks, swim, and conclude with prayer and a short teaching.
High School Youth are invited to participate in various Bible Studies throughout the school year.
Any high school student (typically grades 9-12) is welcome to join us! Whether you’re new to Cottonwood or have been coming for a while, we’d love to have you be part of our community.
No, you don’t need to be a member to join in on the fun. Our events are open to all junior high students who are interested in exploring faith and building friendships.
Expect a mix of fun, faith, and fellowship! From holiday celebrations and community service projects to retreats and special worship nights, there’s always something exciting happening.
