Our mission for Cottonwood Sprouts at The House is to ensure our littlest ones grasp the depth of God’s love for them and understand that they are wonderfully made for His glory.
We collaborate with parents to sow the early seeds of faith, nurturing children’s self-perception and their budding relationship with God. Our goal is to foster positive, early memories of church and faith, laying the groundwork for a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

Safety and security are our top priorities. We believe that every child deserves to experience God's love in a setting that cares for their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

From the tiniest infants to energetic preschoolers, we offer age-appropriate activities that foster growth and curiosity. Our curriculum is crafted to introduce them to the love of God through stories, songs, and interactive play, all in a way that resonates with their young minds.

Through every interaction, engaging lesson, and playful activity, we aim to create positive, early memories of church and faith, setting the stage for a deep, lasting relationship with Jesus.
Visiting a new church for the first time can often bring a mix of excitement and uncertainty, particularly when it involves the care of your children.
Here are some tips and tricks to know what to expect before you come.
We recognize that each child is wonderfully unique. We take special care to understand and accommodate individual needs, whether they relate to allergies, special needs, or specific medical concerns.
Our team is vigilant about allergies and dietary restrictions. We ensure that snacks and activities are safe for every child, and we maintain clear communication with parents about any specific requirements.
Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment for all children, including those with special needs. We work closely with parents to understand each child's specific situation and adapt our care accordingly.
Our caregivers are trained to be attentive and responsive to the diverse needs of children, ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they deserve.
The health and well-being of your child are paramount. We have protocols in place to handle health-related issues promptly and efficiently.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, there is always a staff member present who is trained in first aid and CPR. We have a clear plan of action to ensure the safety and care of all children in our charge.
We believe in maintaining open lines of communication with parents. Whether it's a routine update or a specific concern, we're here to discuss your child's needs and experiences.
Partnering with parents is essential, especially when it comes to special circumstances. We encourage you to share any information that will help us provide the best possible care for your child.
The House is designed for children from birth to 5 years old, just before they start kindergarten.
We have a secure check-in and check-out system to ensure that only authorized parent or guardians are allowed to pick-up your child. On your first visit, we’ll guide you through a simple registration process. For subsequent visits, the process is streamlined for convenience.
The safety of your child is our highest priority. All our caregivers and volunteers undergo thorough background checks and receive training in child care, safety protocols, and emergency response.
Activities include age-appropriate biblical lessons, music and singing, snack time, and playtime, both indoors and outdoors. For older preschoolers, we also offer the AWANA Cubbies program on Wednesday nights.
We take allergies and dietary needs very seriously. Please inform us of any specific requirements your child has, and we will make the necessary accommodations.
If your child becomes ill or cannot be consoled, we will contact you immediately. We usually first text you and then find you on-campus if we are unable to get a response.
It’s helpful to bring diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes for younger children. You may also bring a favorite small comfort item for your child if you wish. Please make sure all your items are clearly labeled. Older children should be dressed for the weather, as we try to spend time outside!
We always welcome parental involvement! Please contact us to learn more about volunteer opportunities and how you can contribute to The House ministry.
