To Redeem: To Buy Back! To Ransom; to liberate or rescue from capitivity or bondage. To take care of all obligations. To repurchase what has been sold, lost or taken.

Redeemer, the Next of Kin who takes responsibility for His relatives woes. He buys back what is lost, taken and all Used Up!

Know That Your Redeemer Lives! Job 1 and 2

Job 19:23-25 Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book! That with an iron Stylus and lead they were engraved in the rock forever! As for me I know that my Redeemer lives and at last He will make His stand on the earth!

1. Believe the Redemptive Work of God in Your Life!

Galatians 4:4-7 You Are no longer slaves! You are Sons and Daughters of God!

Psalm 40 – What Redemption Looks Like!
Words: Redeem, Save, Restore, Purchase Back, are all appropriate words!

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,

• You Are Redeemed through His Blood! 1 Peter 1:13-19

2) He Redeemed us from our futile way of life 1 Peter 1:18
3) He Redeems Your Life from the Pit! Psalm 103:4

6) He Redeems Your soul from the Power of Hell! Psalm 49:15
7) He Redeems Your soul in peace from the battle which is against you. Psalm 55:18

• Your Trespasses Have Been Forgiveness!
Believe Jesus, Your Redeemer Lives to Redeem whatever it is in your life that is lost, gone, used up, taken or stolen. Every failure, every lawless deed!

2. Humbly Receive the Work of God’s Redemption in Your Life.

He Remembered! Luke 22:31-34

1 Corinthians 10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.

3. Remember Redemption’s Promises! Luke 22:31-32

Philippians 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is He who calls You and He also will bring it to pass.
Romans 11:29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable!

Isaiah 44:22 “I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud, And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

Micah 7:18 Who is a God like Thee, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. 19 He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes, Thou wilt cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.

II. Redemption and Restoration! John 21

1. Possess a Godly Sorrow over Your Sin!

2 Corinthians 7:10 For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation , but the sorrow of the world produces death.
