What Does the Word Say About Salvation?

1. There is No Other Way to the Father, But through Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:12
John 14:6

2. We Are Saved by Grace Through Faith Alone: not By Works!

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift o God; 9 Not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

3. Eternal Life is Knowing God the Father and Jesus the Son!
John 17:1-3

How We Come to Know Him: Philippians 3:1-16

1st We Put No Confidence in the Flesh!
2nd Pursue A Growing, Vibrant Relationship With Christ! Why?

Because Knowing Him means knowing the Father! John 14:7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”

Because Knowing Him = Knowing the Power of the Resurrection!

Because Knowing Him means knowing the Fellowship of His Sufferings!

Philippians 1:29 For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him , but also to suffer for His sake, 30 experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

Romans 8:15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Because Knowing Him means Being Conformed to His Death!
