The Remedy for Sin and Grief!

1 Corinthians 11:22-32

Genesis 3:1-12

Romans 5:12 – Therefore just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned!

Sin! Galatians 5:16-21

Genesis 3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your see and her seed and He will crush you o the head and you shall bruise Him on the heel.

Celebrating the Remedy! 1 Corinthians 11:23-32

I. The Thanksgiving! 24-25

John 12:27 Now my soul has been troubled and what shall I say, Father save me from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour!

Hebrews 12:1-3 – For the Joy set before Him, He endured the cross!

A. Thanksgiving For The Bread – His Body Broken!

1. To Bear Your Sin/Failures!

John 1:29 The next day He saw Jesus coming to Him and said, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

1 Peter 2:24 And He Himself bore our sin in His body on the cross so that we might die to sin and lie to His righteousness

2. To Bear Your Griefs!

Isaiah 53:4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore and our sorrows He carried!

B. Thanksgiving for the Wine – His Blood!

1. To Redeem You!! 1 Peter 1:13-21

2. To Forgive You of All Your Sin!

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according the riches of His grace!

3. To Make You Like Christ!

Hebrews 13:12 Therefore, Jesus also that He might sanctify the people through His own blood suffered outside the gate!

4. To Give You Complete Victory Over the Enemy!

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame Him because of the blood Lamb Because of the word of their testimony and they did not love their life even unto death!

II. The Remembrance of Christ! 26

III. The Proclamation! Christ Crucified! 26

In 1 Corinthians 1:23 – Christ Crucified – to the Jews a stumbling block and to gentiles foolishness!

IV. The Examination 27-32

Romans 5:19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners even so through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous!
