1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
• The Supernatural & Miraculous Follow the Grateful Heart: For the Good!
• Luke 17:11-19: Finds One Leper of 10 who were healed returns to Jesus and gives Thanks for the Healing and Get’s Saved!
• John 6: Jesus Gives Thanks for 5 Loaves and 2 Fish and feeds 5,000 men and their families!
2. The Supernatural & Miraculous Follow When Thanking God For The Hard, the Bad, the Difficult and Loss!
• John 11: At the Tomb of Lazarus, who’s been dead for Four days, Jesus gives Thanks and Lazarus Comes Forth!
• Job 1: Finds Job Thanking and Worshipping God after catastrophic loss!
• Jonah 2:9: After three days in the belly of a Fish, Jonah finally gives Thanks and the Fish Vomits Him to the Shore!
• Acts 16: Paul and Silas finds them self in Jail after Healing a Demonized Girl. They’ve been beaten and thrown into deepest part of the jail. And at Midnight start praising God for it all! And the earthquake comes…
Ephesians 5:20 Always Giving Thanks for All Things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father!
• Luke 22: Jesus Gives Thanks for a Broken Body and Spilt Blood and Salvation Is Offered to the Whole World
• Giving Thanks for the Broken Body! This is My Body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.
• The Body of Jesus Bore Your Grief! Isaiah 53:4
• The Body of Jesus Bore Your Sins! 1 Peter 2:21-25
John 1:29 Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!
• Giving Thanks For His Shed Blood! This Cup is the New Covenant in My blood: do this as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me!
• His Blood Cleanses and Forgives You! Hebrews 9:14 – The Blood of Christ Cleanses your conscience form dead works to save the living God!
Verse 23: Without the shedding of blood there is not forgiveness of sins!
• His Blood Provides Constant Access to the Father! Hebrews 10:19 Since therefore brothers we have confidence to enter in to the Holy Place by the Blood of Jesus!
• His Blood was the Price for Your Redemption! Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemptions through His blood the forgiveness of our trespasses according the riches of His Grace!
• His Blood Provides Victory Over the Enemy! Revelation 12:11
• To Remember, for Faith, For Comfort, For Inspiration!
• To Proclaim His Death!
Dear Cottonwood. Raymond and I have been so BLESSED this year with the teaching to GIVE THANKS in the good AND bad times. There have been MANY times (this year) when we were able to put this teaching to the test. I am SO GRATEFUL that Jesus Himself showed us “how to do this.” It IS TRUTH. Our GRATITUDE frees The Lord to be able to do so much more than we ask or think. We are so BLESSED to have a pastor WHO LISTENS TO GOD before he brings the sermon each time.
