How We Live this Word: live a life so as to finish well!

1. Fix Your Eyes On the Finish Line!

Jesus! the Finish Line!

Mark 8:36 What does it profit a man if He gains the whole world and forfeits His soul? yet loses His soul?

The Finish Line is Christlikeness!

Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and those whom He predestined, He also called, and those whom He called, he also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified!

The Finish Line is Completing Your Purpose in this Life!

Acts 13:36 For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, and was laid among his father and underwent decay;

The Finish Line is Your Salvation!

2. Keep on Believing that Jesus Finishes What He Starts!

Philippians 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:12 For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

Philippians 3:21 who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

Jude 24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,

With this confidence: You can believe!

3. Believe That You Will Finish Well!

By laying Aside every encumbrance and sin that easily entangles You!

Ephesians 4:22-32 Sins such as lusts, pride, anger and greed!
Things such as grumbling, worry, fear, anxiety!

By Running the Race With Endurance!

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 – How we Run Our Race!

By Never Growing Weary.

Paul said: 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
