What He would learn as a shepherd:

Faith in the Impossible
Courage for the Improbable
Integrity for the family Business
Skill sets like sling shooting and harp playing and song writing.
He would learn the ins and outs of taking care of His sheep:
Which would lead to the ins and outs of taking care of His People

Just look at Psalm 23!

He would learn patience and Contentment
He would learn Worship, God’s Presence, Prayer and Meditation.
He would learn Life Skills of How to live life!
Faithfulness, Diligence, Faithful in the smaller things.
He would come to know what is really important in life
He would learn how to stand up to Bullies, like His big brothers.
He would learn Authority, God’s timing
He would learn all things are possible with God
