Overwhelmingly Conquering!
2 Romans 8:16-39

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you that in me you may have peace! In the world you have tribulation, but be of Good Courage, I have overcome the world!

1st In the World You Have Tribulation! Romans 8:35-36

– Tribulation: Pressure, Anxiety, Burden, Affliction

– Distress: Cornered, in a narrow tough place, anguished, panicked uncertain, claustrophobic.

– Persecution: Infliction of pain, threatened, arrested, punished,

– Famine: Lack of food, money, hunger

– Nakedness: At the bottom of poverty, having nothing

– Peril: Danger

– Sword – War, judicial punishment!

Paul’s Tribulations: 2 Corinthians 11:22-28

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you;

James 1:2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,

2nd Jesus Overcame the World! 1 Peter 2:21-25 (On the Screen)

3rd We Overcome the World By Our Faith! Romans 8:37-39

1 John 5:14 For whatever is born of God and overcomes the world and this is the victory that has overcome the world – our Faith!

1 John 2:15-17 – The One who Does the Will of God, lives Forever!

4th We Overcome By the Plans & Purposes of Godhead! Rom 8:26-34

  • The Holy Spirit’s Work: V26-27
  • He Helps Our Weaknesses!
  • John 14:16 He’s The Helper who is With Us Forever!
  • Acts 1:8 He Empowers Us to Be His Witnesses!
  • John 14:26 The Helper who teaches us about all things!
  • 1 John 2:27 The Anointing that teaches to abide in Jesus!
  • John 16:13 The Spirit of Truth will Guide you into all Truth!
  • Isaiah 30:21 And your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
  • Ezekiel 36:27 The Spirit Causes us to Walk in His Word!
  • John 16:8 The One who convicts of our sin and brings us to righteousness!

The Spirit Comes to Empower you, Pray for you and Lead you in every area! You have an anointing that teaches you to abide in Jesus!
