Matthew 12:18-21

John 20:21 “Peace Be With You: As the Father Has sent Me, I Also Send You!”

Matthew 12:18-21: As He is, so also are we in this world! 1 John 4:17

1. Let’s Reflect Jesus! (18)

Because As He is in the World, so are We!

• Jesus is Chosen – We Are Chosen – John 15:16 You did not chose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give it to you!

• Jesus is the Beloved – We Are of the Beloved!

Colossians 3:12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heat of Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience

• Jesus Is His Servant! We Are Servants/Children of God

• Jesus is Pleasing to the Soul of God – We Are Pleasing to the Soul of God!

How Do We Please God?

• We Believe Him! Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for He who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him!

• We Obey Him! Matthew 3:17 and a voice out of the heavens said, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!

• Jesus Possesses the Spirit to Proclaim the Gospel – We Have His Spirit to Proclaim the Gospel! Isaiah 61:1-3

2. Let’s Proclaim Jesus With the Spirit’s Power! Acts 1:8

3. Let Us Embrace His Strategy! (19) 1 Peter 2:21-25

• No Quarreling!

• No Crying Out!

• No Raising Of the Voice to be Heard!

• Retreating When Necessary!

4. Let’s Embrace The Broken and The Smoldering! (20)

We do not Break off or cast aside Battered and Broken Reeds We do not put out Smoldering Wicks!

Mark 2:17 And Hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners!

5. Let Us Believe That The People God Sends us and Sends Us to will Put their Hope in the Name of Jesus!

Let Us Reflect Jesus as Chosen, Beloved, Servants of the Living God! Let Us Please the Soul of God, Proclaim His Ways in the Power of the Holy Spirit! May We Entrust Ourselves to Him Alone Let’s Embrace the Broken and Smoldering! Let us See The Hope of the Nations!
