New Year’s Resolutions Do Not Work!

1st: There is No power in Resolutions! Like the Law:

Romans 8:33 – For what the law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did sending His own son In the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh!

2nd Most of Our Resolutions are Self-Directed Not God-Directed!

Matthew 6:33 Seek First His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 –

3rd Our Resolutions Are Based on Preference and not Conviction!

For Health and Weight and Anything Else: Start With This:

1 Corinthians 6:20 You were bought with a price: therefore glorify God in Your body!

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all the glory of God.

4th We Miss the True Nature and Meaning of the Newness of Life!

• In Christ All Things Are Always New! 2 Corinthians 5:17

• You Are In Christ, New Creations – That’s Who You Are!

• New Nature, Free of Guilt and Shame 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
• Your sins Have Been Taken Away!

1 John 3:5 You know that He appeared to take away sins and in Him there is no sin.

• You Are Pardoned, Redeemed and Forgiven!
• All Your Sins and Failures Are Forgotten!

Psalm 103:1-14 – The Benefits of A New Life!

• A New Relationship With God Through Jesus! – That’s What You Have!

• Always New, Always Transforming, Always Better! Never the Same!

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 – Freedom and Transformation!

• A New Purpose And Life Story! That’s How You Live!
