Life By the Spirit: Receive the Holy Spirit! John 20:19-23

Born From Above! John 3:1-8

Two births: Born of Flesh and Born of the Spirit
Born of Water representing the washing we receive by the Holy Spirit when the Holy Spirit comes into our lives through faith.

Ezekiel 36:22-27 Clean Water, A Cleansing, A New Spirit, A heart of flesh and I will put My Spirit within you.

Isaiah 44:2 Thus says the Lord who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you, Do not fear O Jacob my servant; and you Jeshurun whom I have chosen 3 For I will pour out water on him who is thirsty and streams on the fry ground and I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants.

Joel 2:28 “It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. 29 “Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Titus 3:5 He saved us not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according his mercy through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 5:6 So That He might sanctify her having cleansed her with the washing of water with the word.

1 Peter 1:22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, 23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 24 For, “ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS, AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS.
