The First Point of the Christian Life: God Showed Up!

1. Jesus Showed Up!

John 1:1-14 – God Became a Man and Showed Up Amongst Us!

John 3:16 For God So Loved the World that He gave His only begotten son that the Ones believing in Him should never perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not sent the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him!

2. Jesus Showed Up and Gave! John 17

He Gave His Life and Purpose of Life! 1-3

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have {it} abundantly.

He Gave His Word! 7-8; 13-14

He Gave His Peace!

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; Not as the world give do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, not let it be fearful!
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. IN the world you have tribulation, but take courage: I have overcome the world!

3. Jesus Showed Up Gave Saved and Redeemed:

Matthew 20:28 Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to be served and to give His life as a ransom for many!

He Saves Us From Our Sins and the Works of the Enemy!

1 John 3:5 You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; an din Him there is no sin. 8…. The Son of God Appeared to destroy the works of the devil!

1 Timothy 1:15 It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost {of all.}

He Redeems Us!

Luke 1:68 “Blessed {be} the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people.
Titus 2:14 Jesus was given to us to redeem us from every lawless deed and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
Psalm 103:4 He redeems our lives from the pit, and crowns us with lovingkindness and compassion;

Psalm 55:18 He redeems us from the battle that is against us.
Psalm 119:154 He redeems Us from oppression.
Psalm 130:8 He redeems Us from all our iniquities
Joel 2:25 he redeems the years that have been wasted!
