First Word: My God is A Very Generous God!
In Psalm 145:16 – Our God Opens His Hand and Satisfies the desire of every Living Thing!
In James 1 –Our God Gives to All Generously and Without Reproach!
In Matthew 7:11 Our Good Father who is heaven who gives what is good to those who ask Him.
In John 10:10 – While the Thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus came to Give Life and give it abundantly!
I. God Gave His First and Best!
Jesus: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
There is no question that when Jesus came He became known as the firstborn of many brethren. And there is no question He is God’s best! God gives His first and best!
II. God Gives The Rest!
Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
Eternal Life 1 John 5:11-12 And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.
His Holy Spirit! Acts 5:32 “And we are witnesses of these things; and {so is} the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
John 3:34 …. for He gives the Spirit without measure!
His Word! John 17:14 “I have given them Thy word;
His Power! 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
His Gifts! Ephesians 4:8 Therefore it says, “When He ascended on high, He led captive a host of captives, and He gave gifts to men.”
His Grace! Psalm 84:11 The Lord gives grace and glory; No good thing dos He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Your Family, Provision, Ability, Jobs, Health, Freedom, All the Things You Enjoy! His Church! The Kingdom!
Our God is A Very Generous God, Who Gave His First and Best, And then Gave Us The Rest!
2nd Word: Just Be Generous!
Proverbs 22:9 He who is generous will be blessed!
Proverbs 28:27 He who gives to the poor will never want, But he who shuts his eyes will have many curses.
1. With Your Life! It Reflects On Our Position.
1 John 3:16 We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.17 But whoever has the world’s goods, and beholds his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?
2. Be Generous With Your Time and Gifts! This Shows Our Faithfulness
Galatians 6:10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

3. Be Generous With Your Words that Edify, Build Up and Encourage!
4. We Are To Give of Our Resources! It Proves God’s Faithfulness.
Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
How Do We Give? 2 Corinthians 9:6-14
• Give Bountifully! (Life, Time, Gifts and Resources) 6
• Give With Purpose!
What You have purposed in your heart – Out of Faith and Obedience!
To Meet the Need – To Demonstrate Love – To Glorify God!
• Not Grudgingly – Not Mournful
• Not under compulsion – Not Forced by duty or custom.
• Give Cheerfully! With Hilarity!
• With Great Expectation of Return! Verse 10
