God Promises! We Remember and Expect His Promises!

1. We Remember His Promise! Luke 24:11

God’s Impossible Promise to Abraham and It’s Fulfillment! –

Romans 4:19 Without becoming weak in faith, he contemplated His body as good as dead since it was a 100 years old and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; 20 yet with respect to the promise of God he did not waver in unbelief buy grew strong in faith, giving to glory to God, 21 and being fully assured of what God had promised, He was able also to perform!

2. We Expect Resurrection! Ezekiel 37:1-14

Christ’s Resurrection from the dead is the cornerstone of the faith!

1 Corinthians 15:13 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, your faith also is vain

1 Corinthians 15:17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

The Resurrected Power of Jesus Raises you From the Dead!

Ephesians 2:1-10

To Be Born Again to a Living Hope!

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

To Walk As He Walked!

Romans 6:4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.

To No Longer Be Slaves to Sin!

To Live With Him Forever!
