Genesis 1:27 – Created in the Image of God!

Genesis 2:16 – Found in God’s Voice to Trust and Obey

II. God’s Purposes Rejected! Genesis 3:1-8

1. We Listen to the Voice of the Enemy!
2. We Believe the Lie of the Enemy!

John 8:43 Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. 44 You are of your father the devil and want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth. Whenever He speaks a lie, he speaks from His own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. NASB

3. We Violate God’s Word and Sin. (1 John 2:16)
4. Fellowship is Broken, Glory Departs and Sin Produces Death.
5. We Run from God and Hide!
6. We Blame Others for Our Failure!
