A Life in Order: Right With God & Others!
Mike Fritscher

The Word to Hezekiah – “Place Your House in Order!”

2 Kings 20:1 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD, `Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'”

I’m not ready to meet God! That’s what he said to me on the other side of the glass. Serving a forty year sentence the man said that He accepted Christ 10 years earlier but has made some pretty poor choices since then. Are you ready to meet God? I didn’t ask are you ready to die. I am not ready to die. But I want to be able to say that I am ready to meet God! For a man to say that means that He knows that there are two things right about His life. His relationship to God and His relationship to others! His House is in Order!

What does it look like to be right with God and Right with Others?

Luke 10:25-28 – Loving God and Loving Neighbor!

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is Kind and is not Jealous, love does not brag and is not arrogant! 5 does not act unbecomingly, it does not seek it’s own, Is not Provoked, does not take into an account a wrong suffered!

4. Confess Your Anger and Unforgiveness as Ungodly.

5. Repent and Respond Properly.

“Father, I confess that I have not loved the following people who have hurt and disappointed me. I have held unforgiveness in my heart towards_______________ for______________________. This is sin. I ask You to forgive me for this bitterness, anger and wrath that I have walked in. I know that on my own, I could never forgive them. But I know that You can through me. So right now, by an act of my will and according to your spirit, I choose to forgive_______________ and release them of the debt. I will no longer walk in agreement with bitterness and un-forgiveness. In the name of Jesus I put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh. I choose to put on love. Thank you, Lord for forgiving me. And as you have forgiven, so I will forgive. Thank you for this power, thank you for this freedom, In the name of Jesus! Amen!

John 10:10 The Thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I come that you might have life and have it abundantly!
