Goliath is the Sin Problem: a bad habit that needs to be killed.
Goliath is the Disease, Your Affliction that threatens Your Health, Your Life! It’s the Emotional Disease of loss, the pain, the hurt.
Goliath is Your Worry, Fear and Anxiety!
Goliath is Your Lack, Your Debt, Your Loss of Job
Goliath is Your Depression, Your loneliness.
Goliath is Your Lack of Direction.

III. Kill Your Goliath In the Name of the Lord!

2 Corinthians 10:3 For Though We Walk in the Flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Matthew 5:39-48 – How we war! These are the words of Jesus. And coming in the name of the Lord means a bunch of great things.

You are Representing Him in Every single Way!
You Are Sent, Commissioned and Tasked by Christ!
You Are Endowed With Confidence in Him!
You Are Assured of the Power of God to Accomplish the Task!

The Name of the Lord! Yahweh – YHWH Exodus 3:13-14

Yahweh-Jireh– “The-LORD-Will-Provide,” Genesis 22:14.

Yahweh-shalom– “The-LORD-Is-Peace,” Judges 6:24.

Yahweh-shammah– “The-LORD-Is-There” Ezekiel 48:35.

Yahweh-Tsidkednu –The Lord our Righteousness Jeremiah 23:

Yahweh-M’Kadesh –The Lord who sanctifies you. (Exodus 31:13; Leviticus 20:8; Leviticus 21:8 and Leviticus 22:32)

Yahweh-Rophe –The Lord Who Heals” Ex. 15:22-26. From “rophe” (“to heal”); implies spiritual, emotional as well as physical healing. (Jeremiah 30:17, 3:22; Isaiah. 61:1) God heals body, soul and spirit; all levels of man’s being.

Yahweh-Rohi – The Phrase is “The Lord is My Shepherd” and is found in the classic Psalm of David. Actually, when studying Psalm 23 one can find the character of God streaming through it!

Though a Thousand Goliaths Sift you, You, the Church will still prevail!
