Change Your Mind About God! Think Highly Of Him!

Think Much of God and Worry Will Flee! Philippians 4:4-8

From a Position of Rejoicing!

1. “Be Anxious for Nothing!”

Why We Don’t Worry!

• God is Sovereign King! He Lord of All! You Are Not!

Psalm 29:10 The Lord sat as King at the flood; Yes, the Lord sits as King forever! 11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace!

• God Cares For You! 1 Peter 5:5-9

• God, Your Father Knows What You Need!

Luke 12:30 For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father already knows your needs! 31 Seek the kingdom of God above all else and He will give you everything You Need!

• God Has Always Supplied Your needs in Christ Jesus!

Philippians 4:19 And God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

• God Doesn’t Worry! We Are Reflections of That God!

• God Works It All Out! Romans 8:28-31

• God is Always Present and Is Always Working!

Psalm 16:11 In His presence is fullness of joy, at His right hand are pleasures forever!

2. Attack Anxiety With Prayer, Supplication and Thanksgiving!

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice Always 17 Pray without ceasing 18 In everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus!

3. Tell God What you Want, What You Him to Do! Psalm 5:1-6

4. Expect the Peace and Intervention of God!

5. Think Kingdom Thoughts!

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do war according to the flesh 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raise up against the knowledge of God and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ!
