Here Am I, Send Me!

John 20:19 That Sunday Evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish Leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them and said, Peace Be With You!

John 20:20 And When He said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples were filled with joy when they saw the Lord!

John 20:21 So Jesus said to then again,
Peace Be With You; as the Father has sent me, so I am sending You!

22 Then He breathed on them and said< Receive the Holy Spirit! With These three Words Spoken to the Disciples, Spoken to You, there is now something distinct about your lives that you now possess that the world does not. 1. Peace! Peace Be With You! Isaiah 9:6 For A child is Born to Us, A son is given to us the govermnet will rest on His shoulders and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace! 2. Purpose! Peace Be With You, As the Father sent me, so I am sending You! 3. Power! Then He breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit! Acts 1:8 And you shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you shall be my witnesses right here in Jerusalem and Judea, Samaria and even unto the ends of the earth. Luke 23:46 And Jesus crying out with a loud voice, said, Father, Into Your hands I commit my Spirit. Having said this He breathed His last. So What does this Look Like? Romans 10:8-17 1) It’s Having a “Jesus” Burden for Burdened People! 2) It’s Knowing Who You Are How You Received It! • You Made the Confession: Jesus Is Lord! He is Your Lord! • You Believed In Your Heart, That He is Alive! You Are Alive! • You Are Right with God, You Are the Saved of God! 3) It’s Knowing that As Christ Was, You Indeed Are: Sent By Christ! Isaiah 61-8 – Here Am I Send Me!
