First Responses When Facing Trials! James 1:1-8

1. Consider It All Joy, When You Face Various Trials!

1 Thessalonians 4:13 We do not grieve as do the rest who have no hope…

2. Know Your Future! Mature, Complete, Lacking Nothing!

• Jesus Did this! Hebrews 12:1-3 Considered It Joy!

Psalm 118:24 This is the Day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone. 23 This tis the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24, this is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

• Job Did This! Job 1 Worshipped!

• Children of Israel Did this in 2 Chronicles 20: Sought the Lord

2 Chronicles 20:12 O Our God, will You no judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; not do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You!

Eternal Life: John 6:40 For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I myself will raise Him up on the last day.

Freedom: John 1:36 and he looked at Jesus as H e walked, and said, Behold the Lamb of God!

Transformation: 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory just as from the Lord the Spirit.

Delivered From Fears: Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be the same.

Endurance: Acts 7:56 and he said, Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.

1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you. But to the dergee that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing o that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation.

3. Ask With Faith For Wisdom!

Understand the True Meaning of Wisdom! James 3:13-18

Ephesians 5:15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil. 17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
