He Anoints My Head With Oil!

“ Psalm 23:5 You anoint my head with oil!”

He Is Good In Every Way and He is Good to you and me in Every Way!

The Anointing of the Holy Spirit!

1. An Anointing for Consecration and Setting Apart!

1 Samuel 16:1-13

Acts 13:22 After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, I Have fond David the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, who will do all My will.

“And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward!” 1 Samuel 16:

It’s what happened when you came to Christ and the Holy Spirit came upon us!

Acts 1:8 You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you shall be my witnesses, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and even to the remotest part of the earth!

Isaiah 61:1 Anointed to bring good news to the afflicted, to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners;

You Anoint My Head With Oil!

The Anointing of the Spirit Is

2. An Anointing That Teaches! 1 John 2:20 and 27

• About all Things!

• To Abide in Jesus! John 15:1-5

Galatians 5 tells us to walk by the Spirit and we will avoid the flesh and produce His fruit! The fruit of the Spirit is the manifested presence of Jesus in your life! It is your life giving witness to the greatness of God!

3. An Anointing of Gladness!

Psalm 45:7 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above your fellows (companions).
