2 Corinthians 4

I. We Have This Great Ministry! We do Not Lose Heart! 1

1. Ministry of the Spirit! 2 Corinthians 3:6

• He Is Present

• He Is Helper

John 14:16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of Truth!

• He Is Teacher – 1 John 2:27

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Sirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

2. Ministry of Freedom, Glory and Increase! 2 Cor 3:17-18

3. Ministry of Light!

Matthew 5:16 You are the Light of the world……Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven!

“Light shines in us and sent out from us! Ministry to us and Now From Us!”

The Lord! 2 Cori 5:17-18– Ministry of Reconciliation!

II. We Have This Great Treasure! 7

Afflicted: Troubled, Pressed Hard Upon/ Not Crushed : Restrained

Perplexed: Not Doing What to do/ Not Despairing: Destitute

Persecuted: Harassed, Pursued, Mistreated/ Not Forsaken: left behind

Struck Down: Thrown to the Ground/ Not Destroyed: Put an end to

III. We Have This Same Faith!

Therefore We Do Not Lose Heart!

1. Jesus Renews Me Every day! 16
2. This Trial is Momentary and Light
3. This Affliction is Producing something Great: An Eternal Weight of Glory!
4. You Keep Your Eyes on the Eternal, not the Temporal!
